Who We Are
Little thinkers ABC is a 100% Spanish immersion family preschool and child care for children ages 6 weeks to 11 years in Hillsboro, OR. As part of our creative curriculum, we incorporate the Creative Curriculum method in which daily activities are developed that encourage children’s thinking, creativity, independence, and a sense of respect for themselves and others.
Children learn through play, exploring their environment, structure, and routine, with the support of adults who respect and care for them. We promote independence, social-emotional stability, and self-esteem through respect, understanding, and compassion.
Developing literacy in two languages and exposing children to authentic language experiences are two essential elements of bilingual education to enhance children’s highest cognitive brain development.
Students in our dual language program develop bilingualism and biliteracy skills, grade-level academic achievement, and cross-cultural competency.
Our immersive program offers children practical opportunities for exploration and discovery so that they can develop and acquire physical, emotional, social, academic, linguistic, and artistic skills.
Children as well as their parents will find a warm, safe, loving, inclusive and understanding environment at Little Thinkers ABC, where each child learns independently and at their own pace. We value diversity and welcome children of all ages, from newborns to school age, regardless of race, gender, religion, or special needs.
What We Do
Immersion means acquiring something naturally by being surrounded by it. Children are born with the ability to learn languages simply by hearing them spoken. Our Spanish immersion program surrounds children with the Spanish language and encourages them to learn it through everyday interactions. It’s all about conversation here, where communication happens spontaneously!

Creative Curriculum-based Approach
We have developed age-appropriate programs integrating Spanish Immersion and the Creative Curriculum Method. Our education provides children with an environment where they can explore their surroundings, develop creativity, and feel confident.
Language
Language acquisition comes easily in early childhood. With our Spanish immersion program, your child can achieve native-like fluency and cultural awareness.
Future Success
As your child becomes more familiar and comfortable hearing and understanding the second language, their response in Spanish becomes a natural part of their thought process and day-to-day life.
Warm Culture
At Little Thinkers ABC, children learn the Spanish language and gain a greater understanding of culture. We will expose your child to the language and culture of Latin daily, as well as help them to develop their academic and early childhood skills.
Goals and objectives
of the program:
1) Provide quality care for all enrolled children equally.
2) Promote the total development of the child by providing an environment consisting of:
- A warm and friendly environment with trained childcare providers.
- A safe and healthy facility.
- A child-centered and role-free environment without stereotypes.
- A suitable environment/equipment in good condition.
- Activities that support children’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive, linguistic, and physical needs.
3) Be an emotional support system for parents when problems arise with their children.
4) Help parents learn about the child’s holistic development and other child-related information.
5) Children will receive safe and consistent care during childcare hours.
(6) Children with developmental disabilities shall receive appropriate support and services.
7) Parents will have a greater knowledge of their child’s development, individual needs, and nutritional requirements.
8) Parents will have improved parenting skills, including options for handling challenging behavior.

All of our providers use MyORO – a training platform for childcare providers. They are always in training offered. All of our personnel is in an 8-standing or higher. If you work in Oregon’s childhood care and education field, myORO helps you to track, plan, and customize your professional development experience. In addition to MyORO, our providers use Teaching Strategies, which is a tool used to monitor children development. You as a parent will have full access so you can always be in-the-know about your Little Thinker’s progress.
Dual Language Immersion in Hillsboro, OR
